Miraculous light shines from tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe
(admin note: On May 7, 2007, a gentleman at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe verified that the following incident occurred on April 24, 2007. Church authorities are investigating the light witnessed by the crowd after Mass. Those interested are advised to check the Basilica's website at www.virgendeguadalupe.org.mx for further updates as news develops.)
Here are some precise details concerning the miracle which has occurred on April 24, 2007 with the Basilica Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, after the municipal council decision of this town legalize the abortion with the request prohibited. The photographs presented here were sent from Mexico by the Father Luis Matos, superior of the Community of the Blisses. They were accompanied by a Spanish comment of which here summarized translation. "At the end of the mass offered for the fallen through children nonborn, the assistance of the Basilica wondered what from it the Very Blessed Virgin of Guadalupe awaited. While many faithful took photographs of the ayate of Tepeyac, exposed and venerated in the Basilica and with the foot of which the crowd of the pilgrims travels on a travelling carpet, the image of the Virgin started to be erased, to give place to an intense light which emanated from its belly, constituting a halation shining having the shape of an embryo. With a framing and an important enlargement it is possible to appreciate the position of the light which really comes from the belly of the image of the Blessed Virgin and is neither a reflection, nor an artifact.

The odd thing on this is my reaction. Normally I dismiss the usual BVM on toast news article. Even more reason to be cautions is the affect of light. Science does not understand it fully and many funny things can be done with light as Hollywood proves often in special effects. About a decade or so ago National Geographic had an article about some new things they found in the higher levels of the atmosphere involving light and lightening and other things they have limited understanding about.
For sometime now pilots were reporting things that science did not know about and suspected the pilots of funny tobacco or mental issues. Some of the effects of light may explain the flying space craft that we hear about.
All that said I think this may be the real thing. All a gut reaction I admit but that image is unique and one I suspect has a relationship to the 12th chapter of the book of Revelations, the same with the issue of abortion.
As for me I will be very interested in hearing what the Bishop has to say when the investigation is completed.

This was a link provided at another website and is from a blog. So I can not verify the truthfulness of the report. But if you read Chapter 12 of Revelations you will see why this is a matter of concern. You have to scroll down to get to the text at the 14 of May 2007

A trip to China for Pope Benedict?
CATEGORY: SESSIUNCULUM — Fr. John Zuhlsdorf @ 9:27 pm
Today in Adnkronos we read the following surprising report:
As Adnkronos has learned in the environs of the Vatican, the Secretariate of State is supposed to have received from the Chinese organizers of a large art exhibt "Leonardo da Vinci at Tienanmen" a message in which, in concomitance with the launch of the exhibition, a reference is made to a visit of Benedict XVI in China during autumn.
I nearly fell off my chair.

Remember the red dragon.

I'll go back and read it, but what are you thinking it means?

The short answer is China may be behind a Papal assassination.
Pure speculation on my part but many secular pundits have been reporting a connection between Red China and some of the world's trouble spots. North Korea comes to mind but also the Middle East such as Iran, and Syria. The thinking in the ME is a need for oil and a desire to weaken the US in the Pacific. Russia has also been identified for much of the same reason and Russia is defiantly behind the founding of the PLO. But more than any country in the world on the issue of abortion is China.
More babies die my government mandate than China. If you look at Ch 12 of Revelations you see a figure in the heavens that looks just like Our Lady of Guadalupe and is with child. The red Dragon is lying in wait for the child to be born. The child is taken up to heaven, which could symbolize a holy death.
Pope Benedict XVI has been speaking out of late on the abortion issue and this can not be good news for China with a growing Christian population. It is growing so fast that it reminds me of the story behind the OLoG story and the conversion of the Aztecs.
I do not know what to think but this is one I am looking at closely.

I find it very hard to believe that China would allow the Pope to visit because of the controversies that would likely occur.
I agree it would not be in their best interest considering the government run Catholic Bishops. So I can not be sure this is true. A large part of me would prefer it is not true.
It may be like the liberation of the old Mass in that it is on the table only. What the outcome will be I do not know.
But it puts me on edge for the reasons I mentioned.

That fits with the Guadalupe light. Very interesting, plausible interpretation.

There may be other plausible interpretations as well. I do find some of the old interpretations made by the doctors of the Church quite unexpected. Still they work and a big help in reading the Bible. Even some of the things Christ talked about were explained in His life or by the Epistles as well as early Church writings and they also help. However they do not rule out other meanings that are to come in later times.
For example Christ explained the prophecy of the return of Elias and identified him as John the Baptist yet this return is mentioned in the Epistles and is current doctrine of the Church even now. But John the Baptist died and yet it was true then as much as it is prophetic event for the future.
How it is all to play out is a mystery and in what ways is beyond me to figure out.

We should all be on edge during these perilous times...
Well i can't explain this very well, but Revelations is really happening now, just wait the church will approve Medjugorje, it's real VERY REAL , you are right to be concerned but do not be afraid, your FAITH will see you through :)
If anyone has not done so yet, allow me to welcome you to Roman Catholic Online.
