NEW ITALIAN CATHEDRAL TO PADRE PIO DESIGNED AS MASONIC TEMPLE!?
IS THE NEW CATHEDRAL TO PADRE PIO IN SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO ACTUALLY A "MASONIC TEMPLE"?
I have just received and am in the process of studying a special issue, #381 (March 2006), of the Italian religious magazine “CHIESA VIVA”. It is my understanding that in March 2006 this special issue was sent by the publisher/editor of “Chiesa Viva”, Dr. Monsignor Luigi Villa, to Catholic & 'catholic' priests, Bishops, Cardinals, as well as a selected group of Italian lay persons including members of the judiciary. This entire special issue deals with only one subject, that being the inauguration in July 2004 (construction began in 1996) of the new Cathedral dedicated to Padre Pio of San Giovanni Rotondo. The authors allege that after years of study they are now able to prove that this new church is in fact, NOT a Catholic Church, but rather a “Masonic temple”!
The authors (the engineer Franco Adessa) further allege that they have analyzed the complete church structure including the entry doors to the church, the altar plus the cross that hovers over it, the chapel of Adoration with the Tabernacle made out of jet black stone with the 13 plaques of silver as
well as the immense stone cross that towers 40 meters over the piazza.
The authors allege that Masonic symbols are apparent everywhere. The authors allege that their special issue of Chiesa Viva has put into focus an alleged Masonic plan to DO battle with God by attempting to destroy the Catholic Church with Masonic Ecumenism. According to the authors the most devastating aspect of this blasphemy is the direct insult to the Holy Trinity and Our Lord Jesus Christ that have been symbolically displaced from the Cross and the Tabernacle and replaced by the blasphemous “Masonic triple trinity” and of Lucifer in person.
The authors allege that this story is one of money, power and control that go to the very top. To date news services around the world seem to be totally unaware of what has allegedly transpired in San Giovanni Rotondo, not one word has been uttered by the Vatican or other officials and millions of devotees to Saint Padre Pio are unaware and would be outraged if they ever suspected that their donations (estimated to be over $250,000,000.00 US) had been used to allegedly defame their beloved Saint!
If these allegations are in fact verified the scandal could be enormous. Millions of Catholics devoted to Padre Pio would be shocked and angry. The scandal would involve huge sums of money, the defamation of a Sainted Priest loved world wide by millions, the undermining of Faith, the
undermining of the Catholic Hierarchy. It seems that officially no one in the Vatican is talking about this alleged scandal, even though a special reunion took place in San Giovanni Rotondo, on May 1 through May 6, 2006 attended by 150 Vatican experts including the Secretary of State
Sodano. Ostensibly these experts converged on San Giovanni Rotondo to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the hospital (Casa di Sollievo della Sofferenza) by Padre Pio. Their meetings were open to the public during the day, however, their closed door evening meetings were
allegedly dedicated to high level discussions of the Chiesa Viva special issue #381.It was subsequently reported, confidentially, that the Vatican has adopted an official solution that essentially amounts to total silence on this matter! If this is true then the allegations of Chiesa Viva may be much more than allegations and silence on the part of the Vatican is tantamount to conceding victory to Chiesa Viva. How long can this story be kept under wraps before the devotees of Padre Pio find out that they and their saint have been betrayed!?
Subjects: Corruption, Ecumenism, History, Liturgy, News, Novus Ordo, Politics, Tradition, Tridentine
I know for a fact that this special issue of "Chiesa Viva", detailing every aspect of the construction of this blasphemous structure, that profanes every article of Faith dear to Padre Pio, was also sent to the following traditional Catholic publications [sic] and they have refused to touch this as the corruption reaches all the way to the top:
Tradition, Family & Property
The Remnant
The Wanderer
Catholic Family News
Inside the Vatican
Why, oh posturing cowards why??
Because there have already been murders and attempted murders involved with this project?
Or because it is much more than merely pooh-poohing blasphemous Hindu worship at Fatima - terribly horrendous in itself - but points directly to the Abomination of Desolation in the Holy Place?!
Special Ping for a Thor story if I ever heard one!!!

Will there be an English translation of the article?

Yes, an English language translation of this article is now being prepared and a print run of 50,000 planned.
In the meantime, the original Italian language version is being distributed to prominent traditional Catholic priests throughout the world.
Yo...Thor be here!
"The authors allege that after years of study they are now able to prove that this new church is in fact, NOT a Catholic Church, but rather a “Masonic temple”!"
Now I have neither seen photos nor plans for this, but I was aware it was under construction. Between that and the fact that my Italian stinks, I need more input before I can comment intelligently. But I am very curious about this.
The statement I quoted above could actually be applied to every newly constructed or freshly wreckovated Catholic church I have seen - or at least seen pictures of. There is more then one set of comparison photos of a Masonic Temple and a NO church. There is no mistaking the VERY obvious similarities, which we know are intentional.
Intentional as they are not the mere whim of some stoned architect, but of the USCCB.....and all the way to Rome. The form and layout are both standardized AND mandatory. No accidents here.
I will eagerly await the English translation.
But consider this: the Mother Church of the world, St. John Lateran in Rome. What is its focal point? The CHAIR!!!! Carved into the foundation upon which the CHAIR rests are four ancient evil symbols. That is what is in the apse - not a tabernacle nor high altar, And it has been that way for about over 500 years. What does that tell you? Where is the tabernacle? Good question!
Secondly, almost as if Richard Vosko designed it, the high altar is plopped in the middle of the room, as it has been for centuries. In the center of the Crossing. Above it, in a gilt (literally) cage, are the heads of Sts. Peter & Paul.
The two Apostle/founder of Christian evangelization held captive by the Mammon of the Church administrators. None too subtle, eh?
This is therefore not the first time in church history that evil symbolism has been used. But in other times it was not common, and somewhat obscure to the average person.
As per the Padre Pio Shrine, anything with the number 13 is far from obscure, as that number is sacred to Masonry. I can't wait for pictures!
The Crypt:
"Based on Renzo Piano's design, the body of Blessed Padre Pio of Pietrelcina will be moved from its current resting place in the church to a magnificent Crypt in the basement area just below the Liturgical Hall.
This crypt is one of the most impressive features of the entire complex. Situated in its traditional location, directly underneath the floor of the presbytery, it will directly connect to this part of the church via a ramp. The Crypt is semi-circular in shape, has an approx. 550 square metre area and can seat 500 pilgrims.
The radial pattern of conical vaults designed for its ceiling is intended to heighten the spiritual character of this structure, which has its focal point in the tomb of Blessed Padre Pio. The saint's function as a spiritual pillar of faith is echoed by a monumental circular pillar placed in the middle of the crypt. The pillar is over 4 metres in diameter and took 74 hours of non-stop work to install. An innovative cement mix was purposely designed to prevent high temperatures (which could damage the foundation structure) in the hardening and setting stages."
The Cross:
The Chapel:
"This chapel, also called "The Chapel of the Eucharist", stands on one side of the Vestry and the Liturgical Hall. As its function is to lead man to God through the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ, its interior design is meant to bring about spiritual elevation. .
"Of the virtue of religion, adoration is the main act. Adoring God and recognising Him as God, as the Creator and Saviour, Lord and Master of all that exists, infinite and merciful Love. "Only to the Lord God shall you prostrate yourself, only Him shall you adore (Le 4,8), said Jesus, quoting Deuteronomy" (n. 2628 Catechism of the Catholic Church).
"Christ resolved to be present in His Church in this quite unique way. Since He was about to depart visibly from His dear ones, He donated to us His sacramental presence; since He was in the process of sacrificing Himself on the cross for our salvation, He wanted us to have a memorial of the love with which He loved us 'to the end', up to the point where He gave His life for us. In His eucharistic presence, in fact, He remains mysteriously among us, and remains so in the form of signs which express and communicate this love" (n. 1380 CCC)."
The Tabernacle:
"This is also a unique opportunity that we are giving our readers, namely the publication of the first pictures of the silverware made by Floriano Bodini for the Chapel of the Eucharist.
The Chapel of the Eucharist stands on one side of the Vestry and the Liturgical Hall. As its function is to lead man to God through the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ, its interior design has been designed to bring about spiritual elevation.
The Tabernacle containing the Blessed Sacrament is the chapel's most salient feature and the place where Adoration takes place. The Tabernacle designed for the new Church is an octagonal conical stele placed on an octagonal marble base.
The main body of the tabernacle is made of black lava stone from Mount Etna and is three and a half metres high. Its upper part is covered in small, hand-embossed silver tiles depicting the mystery of the Eucharistic bread.
In place of the usual outward-opening doors, the tabernacle has a system with lateral runners. When opened, the two parts of its small door glide to the left and right and push out two tiles. As these suggest arms projecting on either side, the overall impression is that of a cross whose optical and focal centre is the Holy Eucharist.
The hand-embossed silver door of the tabernacle depicts a Pelican, a symbol of the Eucharist and a theme familiar and dear to Blessed Padre Pio, who dwells on it in letters dealing with the infinite love of God for His children.
The image of the pelican, a bird which gives its blood for its young, was likened by St. Thomas d'Aquinas to Jesus Christ: "Oh Pious Pelican, Lord Jesus, cleanse my unclean self with Your Blood".
There are twelve embossed silver reliefs, six from the Old Testament and six from the New."

P.S. This picture is from the images of the dedication of the New Church which are found on the first page of the website. I'm guessing this swimming pool is the baptismal font??? And, my isn't the chair prominant??

Good night, nurse! I hope the allegations turn out to be false! However, the pictures....especially the "cross"......uglier than Hillary before she trowels on the makeup. Even if the allegations turn out to be false, to design such a hideous "cathedral" for a wonderful Christian like Padre Pio is an insult to his memory! One hopes for an Old Testament earthquake.
Sometimes I wish I was still at my former stage of ignorance when stories like this would shock me or seem completely ridiculous.
Fiat,
Thanks for posting those photographs!

I hate modern art. I wanted to be an architect when I was young so bad I could taste it. I decided against it for several reasons but one was my taste in art and architecture was so old fashioned I thought I would never be able to earn a living.
Every Church today looks like a Masonic temple to my eyes so you really can't expect me to be too surprised by this.
I haven't really read this thread too closely, are they saying the Masons are using this Cathedral? That would be a wholly different kettle of fish. If so we will have to file this one in the neocom file under camels they will swallow while they choke on the SSPX disobedient gnat.

This article has also been posted on FR. The masons are going nuts. How long do you think until the article gets pulled and the poster is banned?
Oh, it may take this long...

The following was just posted on FR:
Declaration on Masonic Associations (1983)
It has been asked whether there has been any change in the Church's decision in regard to Masonic associations since the new Code of Canon Law does not mention them expressly, unlike the previous code.
This sacred congregation is in a position to reply that this circumstance is due to an editorial criterion which was followed also in the case of other associations likewise unmentioned inasmuch as they are contained in wider categories.
Therefore, the Church's negative judgment in regard to Masonic associations remains unchanged since their principles have always been considered irreconcilable with the doctrine of the Church and, therefore, membership in them remains forbidden. The faithful, who enroll in Masonic associations are in a state of grave sin and may not receive Holy Communion.
It is not within the competence of local ecclesiastical authorities to give a judgment on the nature of Masonic associations which would imply a derogation from what has been decided above, and this in line with the declaration of this sacred congregation issued Feb. 17,1981.
In an audience granted to the undersigned cardinal prefect, the Supreme Pontiff John Paul II approved and ordered the publication of this declaration which had been decided in an ordinary meeting of this sacred congregation.

Mark, I hear the translation of the article should be finished in two weeks. I don't have a clue to the publication date though.
Hopefully the internet edition can be made available immediately upon completion of the translation.
There will be supplementary material afterwards as well.
Sorry Mark, here's the link:
Well there goes the thread. This is what it reads now:

That FR thread was about dead anyway. The Masons were coming out of the woodwork to defend the indefensible. First they are not a secret society, then they are but one of several that "happen to be secret." Then they are not religious, but they post pictures of the DeMolay bibles. Then they are only a sectarian group gathered together in brotherhood and fellowship. Then they are solving the world's problems because of their influence in politics. Blah, lies, blah, lies, blah, lies, blah.
If one wants the real background, true lunacy, and listing of downright dangers in the Masonic Order, check out this website. It gives all the ammo necessary to cause even a 33rd degree-er to sweat:

The tabernacle in the chapel:

Love the pic!
As someone else said (I think on the FR thread), its rather like the Monolith in 2001: A Space Odessy.
.......should I throw a bone at it, like the primoridal ape-man in the opening scenes?
I have seen that website. The Masons have been a low priority for my personal education since I needed to do more reading on matters of Church doctrine. Consider my last few years a Catholic bath to wash away the Protestant dirt. I have started reading more on the Masons of late and I have noticed a different view of them from Old Catholic writings pre-Fatima vs. some things today. I need to do a little research but it has me worried about some ideas that may be Russia in origin.
The basics are the same. Mason no good, no Catholic may join but there is something else that may be designed to mislead Catholic about others who are not Mason. I need to do some more reading before I start putting this on the net but issue has me concerned.
